Wis Medical (CEO Sung Hoon Lee), an AI-based wearable medical device development company, received the Innovation Award in the Accessibility & Longevity category at CES 2026, the world's largest IT and electronics exhibition.

At CES 2026, Wis Medical unveiled 'Tedream™', a wireless wearable sleep monitoring patch based on soft electronics that attaches to the skin.

This product measures various bioelectrical signals, including electroencephalograms (EEG), electrocardiograms (ECG), electromyograms (EMG), and respiratory signals, using a small device and then analyzes sleep-related signals using AI. Designed for comfort, it allows for long-term, repeated measurements in everyday life, not just in hospital settings.

Conventional polysomnography (PSG) has been criticized for its limited accessibility due to the in-hospital testing environment, cost burden, and difficulty in repeating measurements. Wis Medical's wearable technology was introduced as an approach to observing and analyzing sleep-related biosignals to address these limitations.

The company explained that during the exhibition period, discussions were held with overseas medical device companies and hospital officials regarding technological cooperation and potential future applications.

Wis Medical, founded based on core technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology, is developing wearable hardware design and AI bioelectrical signal analysis technology. Its unique ability to integrate the entire development process, from sensor design to signal collection and AI-based analysis, is a key feature.

Currently, Wis Medical is conducting a national R&D project to advance a general-purpose bioelectrical signal AI model. Based on data accumulated through wearable devices, the company is gradually expanding the scope of its technology application. Furthermore, as a Seoul Bio Hub resident company, the company is strengthening its R&D and commercialization foundation and exploring market entry through participation in global exhibitions and overseas collaborations.

Sung Hoon Lee, CEO of Wis Medical, said, “This year’s CES 2026 Innovation Award is a result of the attention our wearable technology and AI-based biosignal analysis approach received at the exhibition,” and added, “We will continue to improve the perfection of our technology by gradually reviewing clinical verification and regulatory procedures.”
