Sweet dreams are made of this
Sleep disorders affect millions of people, yet diagnosis often requires an overnight stay in a sleep laboratory connected to an array of wired sensors. This study presents a soft, wireless patch system for at-home sleep monitoring that combines flexible electronics, cloud-based analytics, and automated sleep-stage classification. By capturing a wide range of physiological signals in a comfortable wearable format and demonstrating strong agreement with conventional polysomnography, the authors show how sleep assessment can move beyond the clinic and into everyday life.
Selected as an FPE Editor's Pick for its contribution to wearable healthcare technologies and real-world physiological monitoring.
