“Sleep health is a key factor in determining an individual’s health. Existing polysomnography (PSG) was expensive and cumbersome, so it needed to be improved. With ‘Tedream™,’ we will enable anyone to easily measure and improve their sleep health.”

Lee Sung Hoon, CEO of Wis Medical, took the microphone at the ‘SEMI MEMS & Sensors Technical Congress 2025 (MSTC 2025)’ recently held in the United States.

MSTC 2025 is a place where experts in sensor design, manufacturing, and application gather to discuss the latest technologies and innovations. This event emphasized sensor technology in the wearable healthcare field.

Digital healthcare company Wis Medical launched its global strategy by unveiling its innovative wearable sleep diagnosis solution, 'Tedream™', at MSTC 2025.

According to the company, Tedream™ is a wireless-based product that can replace complex polysomnography. It is easy to wear, measures bio-signals in real time, and diagnoses sleep patterns and sleep apnea through AI (artificial intelligence) analysis. The ultra-thin design and wireless communication technology allow for accurate data collection while reducing user inconvenience.

Wis Medical said that Tedream™'s analysis accuracy is expected to further improve in conjunction with the Institute of Information & Communications Techonology Planning & Evaluation-supported research project (Establishment of a Robust and Generalizable Bioelectrical Signal Foundation Model and Clinical Usefulness Study of Disease Diagnosis Models Utilizing It). This project is an AI-based study for precise interpretation of bioelectrical signals and improvement of diagnostic accuracy, and the main institution is UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology). Through this, Wis Medical is strengthening Tedream™'s clinical reliability.

In the presentation that day, CEO Lee Sung Hoon said, "Our goal is to change the paradigm of global digital healthcare with an accurate and easy-to-use sleep monitoring solution." He continued, "It is classified as a Class 2 medical device in Korea," and "We are pursuing global expansion with the goal of obtaining research approval from the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration)."

Wis Medical was recognized for its technological prowess and innovation and ranked second in the 'MSTC 2025' technology presentation evaluation. According to the company, industry insiders have responded positively, saying that sleep diagnostic solutions that combine soft wearable technology and AI analysis have the potential to become a new standard.

Wis Medical plans to fully advance into the U.S. and European markets and expand global partnerships.
