The 2025 Southeast Regional Clinical & Translational Science Conference, hosted by the Georgia Clinical & Translational Science Alliance (Georgia CTSA), took place from March 5 to March 7, 2025, at Callaway Resort and Gardens. This annual event brought together researchers from across the region to present cutting-edge health-related research in preclinical, clinical, implementation, and population-based sciences while fostering collaboration across institutions.

 

Participants included leading experts from institutions such as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory University, Florida State University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, the Medical University of South Carolina, Mercer University, Morehouse School of Medicine, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the University of Florida, the University of Georgia, and the University of Miami.

 

From Georgia Institute of Technology, W. Hong Yeo, PhD, and Josh Lee, PhD, contributed to the Sensors segment of the conference. Their insights and expertise in wearable sensor technology contributed to discussions on the future of medical innovation and translational research.
